Myles Turner Receives Gifts From Turner’s Block For 21st Birthday

In honor of Myles Turner’s 21st birthday, Turner’s Block decided to get creative by giving him a few gifts to celebrate and to show their appreciation for creating the fan section.

The fan section banded together and gave Myles an Indiana Pacers basketball signed by all of the section members. They also created a collage composed of 143 photos from everyone in the section.

Myles showed his appreciation for the birthday gifts with this Facebook post.

Turner’s Block member Ron Craft thought of the idea to give Myles these gifts for his birthday. Ron shared what his inspiration was behind the notion.

“The inspiration behind it was pretty simple, Myles does so much for us and gives so much to us to allow our Turner’s Block family even to exist. There are so many awesome moments that we have up there that the guy that makes it possible doesn’t get to see. Seeing how much fun everyone has and in our group how many people love representing him, I thought what better way to show him the impact he is having than to give him a piece of our year.

The photo has 143 different pictures from everyone around the Block. It truly captures what it’s like to spend a game with us. It’s got everything from games, tailgating, events, and even our road trip to Atlanta. The ball was a way for everyone to give Myles a piece of them personally. Whether it’s just a signature or a little message, everyone in the section signed that to say thank you to him for all he does.”

The members of Turner’s Block have been terrific in energy and even in organization despite the 2016-17 season being their inaugural season. They have grown a special bond with each other and have shared great experiences throughout the year, whether it has been through cheering loud at games or assembling and handing out bags for the WARM initiative.
