During an off day from USA Basketball training camp, Myles Turner teamed up with professional Fortnite player Aydan on a charity Twitch stream playing Apex Legends to raise money for the AbleGamers Charity.
The AbleGamers Charity is a good cause that helps to provide people with disabilities with custom gaming setups. Some people are unable to play video games with traditional gaming controllers and they create devices for people that enable them to still be able to play despite that.
“We give people with disabilities custom gaming setups including modified controllers and special assistive technology, like devices that let you play with your eyes, so they can have fun with their friends and family. We’re using the power of video games to bring people together, improving quality of life with recreation and rehabilitation.”
The live stream that included Aydan and Myles was powered by Mountain Dew Amp Game Fuel and was part of a larger stream that ran for 10 hours. The part of the stream that they did together managed to raise $463 for the charity.
