INDIANAPOLIS — Following the Indiana Pacers’ win over the Brooklyn Nets, Myles Turner and ‘Turner’s Block’ packed and passed out 150 WARM kits. It was a fantastic opportunity for Myles to meet the members of his fan section for the first time while contributing to a great cause.

Mountain Dew made a significant effort to make these WARM kits extra special. They made 500 custom embroidered sweatshirt-blankets, and they donated hundreds of water bottles, which will help keep Indianapolis warm and hydrated this winter.

Myles thanked Mountain Dew for graciously providing the custom embroidered sweatshirt-blankets and water bottles with a Facebook post:

For those that are unfamiliar with the initiative, WARM stands for We All Really Matter. Myles was taught the principles behind the initiative by his mother during his childhood in Texas. Since being drafted by the Pacers, Myles has brought the initiative to the Indianapolis community.

The goal of the WARM initiative is to assist those that are less privileged. The packages contain essential items that aren’t always available to the homeless. Participants should keep a package in their vehicle throughout the winter months so they can deliver it to someone in need.

For those of you that would like to participate in the WARM initiative in your area, packages can contain the following:

  • Bottled Water, Juice Packs, Peanut Butter Crackers, Cheese Crackers, Granola, Cereal Bars, Poptarts, Fruit Cup, Nuts, Cough Drops/Tylenol, Wipes, Kleenex, Tooth Brush/Toothpaste, Lotion, ChapStick, Socks, Gloves, Hand Warmers, and Thermal Blankets.
